Do you focus on women?
Some Coaches focus on Men or Women—I do not.
Have I coached both, and is there a difference? Yes. The really big difference is in the different kinds of stories men and women tell themselves.
What are your specializations?
I have experience and interest in a wide range of areas.
I have spent the bulk of my career doing organizational behavior and human resources in the pharmaceutical industry, but I have consulted for corporations and coached individuals working across many sectors and industries. I have experience with non-profit and government agencies as well.
Do you have a coach?
Yes, I do have a coach.
It was a requirement that I have a professional certified coach when I was in training to become a coach. It is years later and I still have a coach who I meet with twice a month. I have found it to be invaluable. My coach keeps me accountable and makes sure I’m moving in the direction I have set for myself.
What continues to amaze me is how much I need coaching. When I'm with my clients, I can easily see possibilities and alternatives for them. But when it comes to my own life and my own obstacles, I tend to see a more narrow set of alternatives.
One of the best things about my coach is that she asks questions that open up a much broader array of options for me to consider. I will most likely always have a coach.
